The unit fits non optical-fiber amplifier as well as optical-fiber amp models. However, the original optical-fiber amplifier will be abandoned after installing this item.You can purchase any non-optical-fiber amplifer to replace the original one (not recommended) or use the built-in amplifier of this item.
